Urban PHL Happy Hour: Drury Street Pedestrianization + Hale Building Update

Mark your calendars for the UrbanPHL Facebook group's next happy hour meet-up!

This time we're meeting at McGillin's Olde Ale House, where in addition to drinking and socializing, we're trying out a brief Q&A segment with a few guest speakers:

Chris Mullins of McGillin's will be on hand to talk about his efforts to pedestrianize the Drury Street alley, in part by radically reducing McGillin's landfill waste.

John Connors, Jr. of Brickstone Realty will discuss Brickstone's plans for restoring the Hale Building at the end of the block, and how that project dovetails with a nicer Drury Street.

Maurice Sampson of Niche Recycling, the consultant on the Drury Street alley project, will be on hand to answer questions about how the zero waste zone for Drury would work.
